The MidPoint Capital Fund (“Fund”) is a private mortgage fund that offers investors an opportunity to invest in a diversified portfolio of short-term loans secured by commercial real estate, non-owner occupied residential, construction, fix and flip, mixed-use, and similar investment properties without the responsibility and stress of managing real estate assets.

While all investments come with an element of risk, the Fund has generated a competitive annualized yield between 8% and 11% since inception.

Investors have a choice of quarterly distribution vs. reinvested distributions (simple interest vs. compound interest).

Business purpose loans only — no consumer loans. The fund lends on office, hospitality, industrial, retail, residential, land, construction, fix and flip, and all commercial properties.

We lend nationwide, with active lending across much of the United States. Each loan is backed by real estate, with structures that balance flexibility for the borrower against security for the investor.

The Fund is managed by MidPoint Capital Partners, LLC, which has a deep background in large-scale real estate development projects. 

The principles of MidPoint Capital Partners, LLC started investing in private loans in 2008. At the request of MidPoint Capital Partners, LLC investors, the Fund was born.

Who Can Be an Investor?

Accredited Investors

Individuals who have earned income that exceeded $200,000 (or $300,000 together with a spouse) in each of the prior two years and reasonably expects the same for the current year, OR a net worth of over $1M, either alone or together with a spouse (excluding the value of the person’s primary residence).

Trusts

Revocable and Irrevocable Trusts, where the guarantors are accredited investors, or total assets exceed $5 million.

Self-Directed IRAs or Profit-Sharing Plans

Investment structures designed to eliminate or defer taxable income, administered by a qualified custodian or plan trustee.
